Course Overview

The Implementing Segment Routing on Cisco IOS® XR is an instructor-led lecture and lab-based hands-on course offered by Cisco® Learning Services. You learn the concepts of segment routing, application engineered routing, segment routing traffic engineering and its associate protocols, network migration options, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) egress engineering, and Cisco Agile Carrier Ethernet (ACE) architecture.

The Implementing Segment Routing on Cisco IOS XR course is designed for engineers and service providers who are building their networks to take advantage of Application Engineered Routing (AER). Segment routing is designed for the software-defined networking (SDN) era.

Recommended Prerequisites

Cisco recommends that you have practical knowledge of service provider MPLS network design and implementation strategies.
